We have many excellent demonstrations and talks by local artists and occasionally from those further afield. Come along to East Challow Village Hall to take part and learn new techniques.
Our June demonstration was by the renowned Queens Artist in Residence, Freddie Paske. He started, and nearly finished, a fascinating painting
(above) in water soluble oils. His technique was really interesting as was he, explaining all his worldwide travels looking at the animal kingdom in situ.
Our demonstrating artist in November was SHEILA ISABEL IRIGOYEN
Isabel is a Mexican artist living and working in the Faringdon area.
She came to our Group Wednesday evening meeting to demonstrate a live watercolour portrait.
The first image is of the portrait at the end of the two hour session.
Isabel then took some photos and kindly said sj=he would finish the piece at home. We are now the proud owners of the portrait!
